Tanzania Students Studying Abroad Association.

TASSAA (Tanzania Students Studying Abroad Association) is a non governmental organization which was founded in August 2018, by Aloyce Gastone Mkwizu and Innocent Beda Labule with the main aim of connecting Tanzania Youth studying abroad. Our motto being redefining education, it came to our concern that the Youth population undergoing their studies abroad don’t have a platform that they can share their experience abroad for the betterment of our nation Tanzania.

Also we thought to increase the number of scholarships opportunities to students who would be eligible, by which it would increase transfer of Technology from developed countries and also increasing the number of skilled personnel which is still a setback to development in our country. By making this dream a reality, our team has seek more than 1000 full funded scholarships across the world in top ranked university which will be distributed equally among the students who will be eligible respectively. To make sure that our sweat isn’t in vain, the students have to serve the nation in all the years of their scholarship either directly or indirectly and after finishing their studies in a period of not less that 10 years. By doing so, our nation’s speed of development will double if not triple and forget some of the major or minor problems facing it. We also seek to work with the Ministry of Education hand in hand in a symbiotic relationship trying to improve the sector in one way or another since we have seen that education directly contributes to the development of a nation.

Why should people use navquery?                                                                                                The founders of navquery had this to say on why should people use navquery and not other search engines.

AMOUR.

Featuredamour book cover

A journey to find love and purpose of life.

Late last year I met a friend his name is Anshuman Kashyap. He was working on this story no one knew the title so i decided to put my self in his position and wanted to know what he was really thinking and what he wanted to portray to the society. The story was 60% a love story and 40% things rather than love. He wanted to call it “A journey to find love and purpose of life” but i thought it was so long for a reader to grasp so I pardoned him to think of another title and we came with the title “AMOUR”. But I never knew that one day this day this story will be a book that everyone will read and understand what Anshuman was really thinking. So he made a surprise for me by giving me one copy and asking me to review the book.

So what is Amour really about? Amour is the story of two young lovers, Ansh and Anjali Jha. The guy is a student and so is the girl; however, the two are relatively young and enjoy the life first. Usual dates and meet-ups follow before Ansh discovers something horrible and everything is shattered. While down, Ansh even tries to commit suicide but is consoled by his father and later outs for a discovery of himself and some purpose of life. What happens there? You need to tell me that did he really see God there?

The latter part of the book is also inspiring and is certainly targeted at the young readers who are greedy for meaningful fiction these days. The novel, or rather a novella, is a simple, expressive and also very short. You can finish the book in just a little more than two hours.

The novel seems more inspired by the author’s own journey. You will feel the same as you read the book. Amour is a journey to self-discovery and a finding of true love. The novel tries to define a love which is away from just giving and taking – something which is pure.

I give this book a five star ***** and really recommend it to youth and fiction lovers. My friend Anshuman is also planning to release his new book so read this first to get an insight of the next in his series.

A love Letter.

By: Aloyce Mkwizu.

Good Morning my love,

Oh, sorry, it’s afternoon,

Today I woke up late,

Because the whole night,

I was thinking about you.

This letter to you,

I miss you, it’s true,

And yes am sick,

So sudden, it’s flu,

But this shall pass too.

It’s three years your gone,

For studies you said,

But now I wonder,

When will you graduate,

And come back to stay.

If not tell me,

I must know for sure,

So that I shouldn’t wait,

Maybe i should move on,

There is so much to do.

A quick reply will do,

See you by then,

And prove me wrong,

Tchao, be good.

It’s me your pumpkin.

Elecrama 2018 review by Aloyce Mkwizu.

I have never been there, that was the first though that came to my mind before i decided to visit the elecrama exhibition, since it is all seen from outside that it is the worlds largest exbihition  of everything electric. The experience i got today has changed all my perspective about electricity and technology at large.

elecrama 1

I have been there and I know how it feels. More than 200 companies in one exhibition showing and trying to prove to the people that they can make the world a better place. Something that caught my attention are the companies which focus themselves in building of smart cities, cities which inside have no source of carbon dioxide or any other harmful gas. Their plan is very beautiful, inspiring and easy to understand.  One of them being SRI CITY.

elecrama 5

Other companies that amazed me include fybros smart electrical creations that volcano Bluetooth speaker, Ozone bell and speaker, and the Asterix multi charging adaptor that I will provide their images below. These techs are very amazing.

elecrama 4elecrama 3elecrama 2

I also got a chance to see big generators that can power up until a a small village of 100 houses. one of them is a Bio gas controlled and one was diesel controlled meaning that the bio gas one is more effective in areas with high population like schools of crowded towns and the diesel one elsewhere. This gives us an alternative source of energy other than hydroelectric power that can be used in developing countries especially in Africa where power supply has been a continuous problem.

This article would have been very long if I wrote everything that I saw in elecrama so other stuffs will be described by the images which will be embedded at the end of this article. But I won’t forgive myself if I won’t mention companies like panasonic  and tata group which had so much to show us.

Conclusively, it is a a call to developing countries especially in Africa to visit these types of exbihition and trying to cope with the speed of the advancement of science and technology for the betterment of the continent at large. I represent Tanzania.

Check the official website of elecrama, worlds largest exhibition of everything electric  @elecrama and learn how India and other are making the world better or download their app in play store and app store.

No one ever said it was easy being an entrepreneur. Whether you’re in the early stage of your start up, just secured funding for your startup or you are ready for product launch, there will always be those three components when you ask yourself if this whole entrepreneur thing is worth it. Instead of giving up and throwing-in the proverbial white towel, keep your head up and look to the following 50 quotes to inspire and motivate you during those tough patches.

  1. “The critical ingredient is getting off your butt and doing something. It’s as simple as that. A lot of people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do something about them now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. But today, the true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer.”
  2. “Do. Or do not. There is no try.”
  3. “To any entrepreneur: if you want to do it, do it now. If you don’t, you’re going to regret it.”
  4. “It’s not about ideas. It’s about making ideas happen.”
  5. “I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game’s winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life and that’s why I succeed.”
  6. “There’s nothing wrong with staying small. You can do big things with a small team.”
  7. “Ideas are easy. Implementation is hard.”
  8. “If you just work on stuff that you like and you’re passionate about, you don’t have to have a master plan with how things will play out.”
  9. “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”
  10. “Never give in–never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.
  11. “There’s lots of bad reasons to start a company. But there’s only one good, legitimate reason, and I think you know what it is: it’s to change the world.”
  12. “The secret to successful hiring is this: look for the people who want to change the world.”
  13. “The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.”
  14. “When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.”
  15. “If you’re not a risk taker, you should get the hell out of business.”
  16. “Watch, listen, and learn. You can’t know it all yourself. Anyone who thinks they do is destined for mediocrity.”
  17. “Always deliver more than expected.”
  18. “Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover.”
  19. “You shouldn’t focus on why you can’t do something, which is what most people do. You should focus on why perhaps you can, and be one of the exceptions.”
  20. “A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.”
  21. “Risk more than others think is safe. Dream more than others think is practical.”
  22. “I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.”
  23. “Be undeniably good. No marketing effort or social media buzzword can be a substitute for that.”
  24. “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.”
  25. “You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take.”
  26. “Do not be embarrassed by your failures, learn from them and start again.”
  27. “It’s almost always harder to raise capital than you thought it would be, and it always takes longer. So plan for that.”
  28. “If you don’t know what to do with your life, do something that saves lives. The world is full of people in need, be the part of their life that fills that need.”
  29. “It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.”
  30. “I hate how many people think, “glass half-empty” when their glass is really four-fifths full. I’m grateful when I have one drop in the glass because I know exactly what to do with it.”
  31. “It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up.”
  32. “For all of the most important things, the timing always sucks. Waiting for a good time to quit your job? The stars will never align and the traffic lights of life will never all be green at the same time. The universe doesn’t conspire against you, but it doesn’t go out of its way to line up the pins either. Conditions are never perfect. “Someday” is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you. Pro and con lists are just as bad. If it’s important to you and you want to do it “eventually,” just do it and correct course along the way.”
  33. “Fail often so you can succeed sooner.”
  34. “We are currently not planning on conquering the world.”
  35. “Timing, perseverance, and ten years of trying will eventually make you look like an overnight success.”
  36. “You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don’t try.”
  37. “The media wants overnight successes (so they have someone to tear down). Ignore them. Ignore the early adopter critics that never have enough to play with. Ignore your investors that want proven tactics and predictable instant results. Listen instead to your real customers, to your vision and make something for the long haul. Because that’s how long it’s going to take, guys.
  38. “When you cease to dream you cease to live”
  39. “Don’t worry about funding if you don’t need it. Today it’s cheaper to start a business than ever.”
  40. “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
  41. “Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning.”
  42. “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”
  43. “Entrepreneurship is neither a science nor an art. It is a practice.”
  44. “In the modern world of business, it is useless to be a creative, original thinker unless you can also sell what you create.”
  45. “It doesn’t matter how many times you fail. It doesn’t matter how many times you almost get it right. No one is going to know or care about your failures, and neither should you. All you have to do is learn from them and those around you because all that matters in business is that you get it right once. Then everyone can tell you how lucky you are.”
  46. “Success is how high you bounce after you hit bottom.”
  47. “If you’re not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you’ve launched too late.”
  48. “Positive thinking will let you do everything better than negative thinking will.”
  49. “I’m not afraid of dying, I’m afraid of not trying.”
  50. Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.

Bonus: You can say anything to anyone, but how you say it will determine how they will react

Use a few of these quotes for a mantra, carry a hard copy of this list in your pocket, but remember, you have to find inspiration where you can and be the inspiration for yourself.

HOI POLLOI, Happy Women’s Day.

Featured

When we celebrate women’s day, I hereby present this wonderful poem “HOI POLLOI” written by my fellow poet Lucas Kweka. And here it goes:

HOI POLLOI.

She has always been a music note in between,

A rare sound, that is always forgotten,

They don’t realize how she did it so keen,

Yet observable their shame unspoken,

Shielding her potentials in her heart within,

So unafraid shall she rise long hidden,

When will they hoist you, my sweet hoi polloi.

She has it kept that hidden tsarina,

Domestic is her middle name,

The dishes, the laundry and the cooking lasgana,

She does it with no shame,

Her mentor by heart her princess Diana,

She has tried but happy all the same,

When will they hoist you, my sweet hoi polloi.

It kept on coming last, her education,

Trying to take her down, male chauvism,

She is able she is strong, so why the segregation,

It is time we let it go, our utter sceptism,

A woman’s heart, love, kindness, and compassion,

A lioness, a leader, a queen and a colorful prism,

You are a warrior to be hoisted too. My sweet hoi polloi.

Why the educated are so poor?

Featured
By: Aloyce Mkwizu
Most educated people in Africa are poor. Not just poor, but very Poor. Why?
Because 80% of the educated people in Africa earn less than 500 Usd for a salary before tax and other deductions. When the deductions are put into consideration, the net salary comes to around 350 Usd.
The net salary then suffers from loan deductions of up to 100 Usd leaving the salary at around 250 Usd. The landlord then demands for his 100 Usd and monthly shopping takes away 50 Usd leaving one with a 100 Usd. The bus will demand for 40 Usd going to and from work and relatives get another 20 Usd, Remaining 50 Usd can’t even take care of one kid in a nice private school, whole salary is gone and borrowed money starts operating. The borrowed money includes short loans and salary advances where by payment is up to 50% in interest.
The difference between poverty and prosperity is property. A prosperous person has property to his name while a poverty stricken person has no property to show. Using this understanding, therefore, most of the degree holders are poverty stricken, borrowing money to buy chicken and chips, pizza, buy expensive gadgets for show off and loaned cars to surprise their enemies.
The biggest excuse for getting paid such low amounts of money and having to sit and work for another person for 30 days in 30 years plus is THE DEGREE that one possesses and that’s all. This has made most of the degree holders very poor to poverty stricken and will die that way most likely. A degree holder does not know how to generate money unless that money is generated for the employer. A degree holder is so dependent on the salary that he can do anything to get a job but will not think of starting a business of his own to employ others. Employee is good but use it as a doorway into entrepreneurship. You are not good in business. Then build rental houses.
1.   A degree holder is not prepared to sell chips but is very happy to work in KFC, Java etc for hungry lion.
2.   A degree holder is not prepared to sell popcorn in the street but is very happy to work at Safaricom/ Airtel/ Supermarket outlet daily standing from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm going home with 100, 200 or 250 Usd per month.
3.   A degree holder is not prepared to sell second hand clothes but is very happy to be employed by an Asian selling same clothes.
4.   A degree holder is not prepared to make 100 Usd monthly doing his own business but is very happy to work at the till in a bank getting paid 400 Usd – 700 Usd while 50% of same cash go for Tax and Vat.
5.   A degree holder is not prepared to start a company and grow it in two to three years but will spend three years searching for a job.
6.   A degree holder is not prepared to sell food to students but will be happy to be reporting to a boss with no qualifications as long as he is paid 30,000 for a salary.
7.   A degree holder is so eager to get out of this country and work in another country than spend time to develop his own country.
8.   A degree holder staying in a foreign land  is very keen to condemn Africa but never contributing to the development of this country.
9.   An African degree holder would rather sweep the streets of London or USA than start a business and make money in Kenya – others work in people’s homes doing some work you can’t explain.
10. A degree holder in Africa will watch porn on his laptop but never to write a book using the same laptop to sell and make money.
11. A degree holder will blame the government for lack of jobs even after he was on government bursary for him to have his degree.
12. A degree holder will spent entire day betting rather than looking for proper way to grow their income.
13. Africa is blessed with people who have master’s degree and others are doctors in different technical fields such as IT and Engineering but all of them have failed to create a cartoon character and develop a movie from the same instead very happy to buy Tom and Jerry for their children thereby promoting America.
At the school I go to, there is a man that is of very humble background. He does not speak English but sells Coke, Fanta and Sprite at 0.35 Usd each making a profit of around 0.10 Usd on each drink. He also sells chips at 1 Usd making a profit of 0.30 Usd on each portion. Not less than 100 students buy chips and a drink every single day. This means he makes a profit of 0.40 Usd for a drink and chips and a total profit of 40 Usd per day…every single day. In ten days he makes a profit of 400 Usd, in twenty days 800 Usd and in thirty days 1200 Usd which means in a bad month he goes home with not less than 700 Usd.
The degree holder working in a bank at the till gets a salary of 50,000 every month.
Why are the degree holders poor?
Because they have decided to pride themselves in a degree and failed to think better than a man who does not have even a certificate to his name.
Degree holders spend their time liking articles on linkedIn and facebook but never have any care in the world to implement what they like. Poverty starts from the mind, a mind that just likes things but never to implement those things.
If you want to progress, throw away that degree and start thinking better than someone without a degree. Be prepared to get your hands dirty and work like an ox for your business. Your hard work will pay off.
Stop pride to eradicate poverty.

A word to a wise man is enough.

Featured

By: Aloyce Mkwizu.

A wise man once said, “A word to a wise man is enough.” Wise men are so wise that one word can make them understand everything. Behold  fellow wise men of this world, since I also want to join this community of wise people. Here are the few things I am learning from them.

  1. The best way to win an argument is by playing the loser. I just won one yesterday.
  2. Life is the only test without a marking scheme.
  3. Life is a journey, success is the destination, the faster the transport, the earlier you reach.
  4. If you can’t laugh from the same joke again and again, why cry for the same problem again and again.
  5. The biggest risk a person can take is to do nothing. In risk lies opportunities.
  6. Life is a game. Live it, love it, play it.
  7. All winners are losers who never gave up.
  8. Success is when a talent meets opportunity. That is why successful people keep preaching “do what you like to do.”
  9. The only people who don’t have problems are the dead people.
  10. Leadership is a philosophy, attitude and a state of mind.

Welcome to the community of wise men since for them, only a word is enough.

Thank you. #wise people #one word.0231378d-7397-4326-aac8-8d386199abe3

How I spent my valentine?

Featured

By: Aloyce Mkwizu.

14th of February, 2018. People call this day valentine day. Expect for the people who don’t have dates, “spouses” everyone loves this day. Valentine day…..gooosh. I can’t believe nothing happened. This day was like any other day for me. I can say it was just like weekend so I had at least to do something productive  that will put my mind not in a state of torture seeing every one I pass by in pairs. Opening my social media it’s all about valentine, WhatsApp status all valentine, Facebook all valentine. Everything was valentine expect me. I went to Expo Mart (exhibition) hoping that I will get a peace of mind. I just want to share my experience in form of photos believing that my day was not wasted.

At least my face shows that I was happy. I also had a chance to meet Albert Einstein, we had a short conversation and a picture of memory!! that’s not true. I also won a black MacBook custom made from the BMW showroom. I can’t believe I got a valentine gift from one of the biggest car companies in the world.

DSC_0434

I also saw new and upcoming innovations from various companies such as Renault, Tata companies, Mercedes Benz and Honda that inspired me and had me realize that there is still a long way to go in my carrier. I kept the day so positive that I forgot it was valentine day, thanks God its now approaching to it’s end. In short my valentine was fully of surprises that would never happen if I stayed indoors. It’s a call to everyone not to waste any day even if you have a very good reason to do so, since you never know what’s out there that day. Thanks Valentine, Thanks God, Thanks to everyone who made my day close to perfect. #stay positive #everything happens for a reason. Bien fare, alvida. #amor

Quote of the day.

Never be sad you don’t have a partner in Valentine’s day cause you would never wish to have one in HIV/AIDS day. By Unknown.

When you say why always me,
I tell you why not me.
Happiness isn’t bought,
But the poor don’t have it.

My dreams are too long,
Than the hour I sleep.
And when I wake plans,
Of making them a reality,
I realize it is already dark,
So I have to dream again.

I don’t know where to start.
But when I start,
Believe me,
I won’t stop till I finish.

If am not afraid to die,
Why be afraid to live.

In words they say,
Work smarter not harder.
But in real life it is.
Work harder then smarter.

And know am dying,
Just a piece of advice,
To you my brothers and sisters,
If you let nature decide,
You will never get a conclusion,
Then you will be,
The only one to blame.

A stupid man.

From the definition of stupid, a stupid man is man who lacks intelligence or common sense. Sometimes called ignorant or dumb. But today I am going to define and tell about a stupid man by using real life examples.

A stupid man is an employee who says “If the want me to work harder, they should pay me more.”

A stupid man is a person who buys a car or house without any budget on the maintenance of such liabilities.

A stupid man is a farmer who says to the field “Give me a crop and then I will plant some seed.”

A stupid man is a man that believes religion only will take him to heaven.

A stupid man is a man who says to an empty stove “Give me some heat and then I will put some wood.”

SONNET: MY HEARTBREAK.

My life mate, once I thought,

My heartbeat, once I called,

My heartbreak, now she is.

In my life, I invited,

The invitation, she accepted,

Yet she never attended,

Is the mistake I made.

I flashback our moments,

Her face, attitude and affection,

The sweet words, she always said,

Was fake, now I think.

Without notice, She left,

Only she I will never forget,

My heartbreak, now she is.

THE BEST THING ABOUT AFRICA.

Featured

BY: ALOYCE MKWIZU.

It has come to my concern that most writers, bloggers and even journalists have been always delivering negative views about Africa. Most of them have forgotten the famous proverb that says “In every bad thing, there is something good in it” and the vice versa also being true. They have forgotten that Africa is the mother continent from were all developed countries have found their riches. They have forgotten, or may be out of their own ignorance that the people of Africa (African’s) have the highest degree of hospitality, kindness, love and many other positive values that can be assimilated by oneself.

So many uncountable good things about Africa yet this honest continent has been negatively branded by media throughout the world in which in the scale of truth, it is all a lie. Nothing God as ever created is 100% perfect, even Africa itself, but how the world views Africa is more irritating even to write. The one who said Africa is a dark continent came during the night and left the continent before sunrise. His words are totally fake.

Not even a single country in Africa leads in poverty, bad leadership (dictatorship), ignorance, corruption, terrorism, civil wars and bad democracy and the links below this article can prove the later statement. But when the above mentioned happens even once in Africa or in particular countries it becomes a life time story and sometimes even exaggerated. The continent is affected by diseases only because of its geographical location (tropical climate) which favors most disease causing organism.

No one talks about world successful leaders that owe their origin to Africa. No one talks about the tourism attractions present in Africa. Even 1 of the 10 wonders of the world is in Africa but I bet if the majority knew this. There are full of Africans doing good in music, sports, leadership and innovations worldwide but they have shorter biographies in the internet than porn artists of the western countries. Nothing is wrong with Africa. Most of the countries attained their independence between 1950’s and 1990’s so you can’t compare them with developed countries which attained their independence more than 200 years ago some of them even not being colonized. Most of the western countries during their first 50 years of independence weren’t even successful compared to some countries in Africa but they still brag that Africa is underdeveloped. It is a big lie trying to become the truth. Africa is still developing, it only needs a few years 5 or 10 probably to show the world that it is also a place to be.

My perspective is that, it is high time for everyone especially Africans themselves to brand this continent positively for the betterment of human race and the future at large.

What were you born for?

Featured

The best question you can ask yourself is “why was I born?” What is your purpose in this world? This poem explains it very ironically, mentioning the most important part of your life, “death”. Read careful this poem, get time to interpret it, find a purpose to your life in this world then start your journey because it all ends the same. Please don’t quote me wrong.

Born to die.

Some say,
Born to lead,
Born to study.

Others say,
Born to eat,
Born to fight,
Born to travel,
Born to hustle.

Few say,
Born to sing,
Born to serve,
Born to learn,
Born to earn.

Some conclude,
Born to love,
Born to suffer,
But all were born to die.

To all mothers in the world.

Words can’t describe how important mothers are in this world, but from the definition of a poem, “a small piece of writing in which expression of feelings is given intensity” i hope this piece will.

Dear Mama.

Dear Mama,

I hope you are fine and robust.

I’m writing this piece saying thanks,

For the 275 days in your stomach,

And the 700 days in your arms,

Your back being my bed of preference.

All the times I have been foolish,

And the times they were against me,

You always stood by my side.

You are my best teacher,

Cause the life you taught me,

Is the best lesson I’ve ever learned.

How can I forget the three rules back then,

That toilet is for pee and pupu,

Evening was for prayer,

And night was for sleeping.

When I cried, you got headache,

And I used to cry a lot,

Still you valued each tear drop.

You forgave me before I realized am wrong,

And taught me not to repeat mistakes,

No being can take you place.

Dear Mama,

What you did is called sacrifice,

My life and success belong to you.

You were, are and will be,

My one and only favorite,

And I will love you till infinity.

9 things you should avoid in 2018.

Featured

2017 has gone and today is the first day in 2018 and i have got a list of the 10 things you should avoid this year so as to make the most of it. We all know that 2018 is the eraser of all our mistakes done in 2017 so don’t waste the rubber and start moving to where you are supposed to be.

  1. Procrastination. Don’t avoid things that you have planned to do. Procrastination is a habit of losers. Those who procrastinated in 2017 and planning to procrastinate in 2018 have a great chance to procrastinate forever.
  2. Stress. Stress kills. Stress affects your healthy. Stress is an imagination which one can control by self.
  3. Negativity. Avoid being negative. Turn problems into challenges. Always be positive. You can not have a positive life in a negative mind.
  4. Hate. Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.
  5. Regret. Past is past. Even regret can’t change it. Focus on the present while preparing for the future.
  6. Fear. The two major fears are fear of criticism and fear of death. If you avoid these two your road to success is much brighter.
  7. Laziness. Work hard and become a leader, be lazy and never succeed. He who does not work shall not eat.
  8. Ignorance. Martin Luther King once said “Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.” First learn then earn.
  9. Over caution. 2018 is the year you have to take risk because the biggest risk is not taking any risk. Successful people have always been saying that you can’t get anywhere in life without taking risks. At least they have been there to give the testimony.

Welcome to 2018. Stay motivated and keep pushing and trying until you get were you deserve to be.

A message from Libyans.

Featured

Today I have decided to put myself into the Libyan’s shoes, especially those who are mostly affected by the current situation of slavery in their country. By doing so the following is a poem that expresses their feelings to the world.

JUST A MAN.

A man,

Whose land was,

Full of wanted wants,

Dominated by his own,

But,

Too much became harmful,

His own wealth led him to agony,

And lost his self-esteem,

Is the man I was.

A man,

Whose body,

Now is not his own,

And his mind locked,

In his own motherland,

History repeating like a miracle,

A man who can’t,

Say a word about his rights,

That the world can listen,

Even though he has the right to do so,

Is the man I am.

A man,

Who won’t allow silence,

When it reach time to talk,

Who can pay back violence,

To the enemy who make him stack,

Who gonna break all virgin intelligence,

And irrigate the growing hearts of patriots,

Well determined,

To bring new life order,

With pain or no pain,

With suffering yes or not,

Is the man I wish to be.

Help me dear brothers,

To be the man I want to be.

Success is when a talent meets opportunity.

Featured

It is true that success is when preparation meets opportunity and the vice versa. But it is also true that success is when talent meets opportunity. Who doesn’t have a talent in this world? None. But how many people are using their talents effectively? Few. But in my case studies, I found out that most of successful people are so because they utilized their talents effectively. You might not know what a talent is. A talent is a natural ability, skill, creativeness or an artistic aptitude. If any talent meets opportunity, that’s when we say someone is very successful. Look, Thomas Edison never did well in school and his teachers always demoralized him. But it is his experimental talents and physics’ genius that made him invert the electric bulb and become among the successful people the world as ever known. Even Steve Jobs, Michael Jordan, Mahatma Gandhi, Bill Gates, Dale Carnegie, Oprah Winfrey, JK Rowling, Mike Tyson and other successful people had to pursue their talents to become what they are today. Some of them had to drop school to pursue their talents. Some of them had to quit high paying jobs only to pursue their talents. This shows how important a talent is in ones journey to success.  It is a call to you and me to cultivate our talents so as to shorten our success journey.

Dedicated to: students all over the world, people who have lost hope.

First things first.

Featured

The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing, said Stephen R covey. Putting first things first has been one among the secret of successful people since the beginning of time. I bet that students, teachers, parents and everyone need this mantra to be successful in their respective fields of operation. Putting first things first has a big relation with time management but be careful when you manage your time on the things that are not much important to you at that time, that’s when you will wonder how your success journey becomes more longer. Stephen R Covey explains it better in his book with the same title as the article. As a student, the first thing here is school. Sports and relationships (not saying that they are not important) should come after sometimes not at all. Failure to put school first than the later things leads to failure and related stuffs. Prove me wrong that students, who put school first while other factors are kept constant, have done wonders.  As a parent, your family works as the first thing here because you are much obligated to them as nothing else can be compared. You can also prove this from where you live that parents that put their families first have made a step in their lives. As a leader your first thing should be to serve. Other things should follow. Trust me, If we all decide to put first things first in our lives, our success journey would be shorter as not expected. Welcome and let us practice the mantra.

Accept Failure, use it to succeed.

Featured

We all know the phrase that says “never give up.” It has been the most used word to motivate people since the beginning of time. And all that is because failure has been part of our life. This proves the statement that says failure is a part of success. There is no success in life without even a dot of failure and I can prove this. Look, Jesus had to die to save the world. Here I have compared death to failure. A lot of vivid examples can prove that failure is important in the success journey. The only man who hasn’t failed is the one who has never tried, said a successful person. The only reason that I have written this article is to remind you that tough times never last but tough people do. Thomas Edison failed more than 1000 times before discovering artificial light (electric bulb). The biographies of successful people like Bill Gates, Michael Jordan, Jack Ma, Nelson Mandela, Jay Z, Abraham Lincoln, Oprah Winfrey, Will Smith, Albert Einstein and JK Rowling are all full of failures. It’s like am motivating you to fail but that’s not it. Am just trying to say that when failure comes just use it as a motivation to give you what you want. Failure is the only opportunity to begin again, but this time wisely, said Henry Ford a famous success of all time. So if you understood my point just believe me when I say failure is success in progress so “NEVER GIVE UP.”

Don’t spend your money anymore.

Featured

Guidelines to wise spending.

We as youth and future entrepreneurs are tempted every now and then to spend our money on things which we mostly don’t need forgetting that if we saved this money, we would end up on a million or something in just a few years of saving. “If you can’t invest it, save it”, were the words of a wise father to his son. As an entrepreneur saving your money is only thing you are advised to do if you can’t invest it so as when the right time of investing comes you should not get a capital problem which is the first problem facing entrepreneurs when they want to start a business.

Below are some of the questions you have to answer before you start to spend next time.

  • Do you really need it?
  • Is the price right?
  • Is the timing right?
  • Is there a substitute for it?
  • Is there any major disadvantage?
  • Have you ever researched the item?
  • Will its value increase or decrease?
  • Does it require expensive upkeep?
  • Have you compared prices?
  • Will you still want it this bad next week, next month or next year as you today or does delay means denial?
  • Will this purchase improve the quality of life?
  • Is it affordable within your present financial capability and budget?
  • Does it compliment your values and belief?
  • Will it help you achieve your vision and purpose in life?

These and many more should be considered before you spend your money next time. Please share this article to any youth entrepreneurs you know to keep them motivated so that we won’t loose them in this game.

Who said it is easy to become an entrepreneur? But if you want to be one, don’t give up. Entrepreneurship is all about taking risk to start a business and so far as I know, it is the highest paying job in the world. It’s not a job exactly but what am sure of is that 95% of the richest people in this world are entrepreneurs and the remaining 5% are joining the group soon. For that, I have written together some inspirational statements that will get you into the 95%.

  • A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.
  • Don’t be embarrassed by your failures, learn from them and start again.
  • It doesn’t matter how slowly you go as long as you don’t stop.
  • If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.
  • Success is how high you bounce after you fall.
  • Ideas are easy but implementation is hard. You know what to do.
  • There is nothing wrong with staying small. David was small but killed the Goliath. Start with what you have.
  • Entrepreneurship is neither a science nor an art. It is a practice.
  • You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don’t try.
  • Believe in yourself because if not no one will.

Conclusively, we reap what we saw and if you know what that means there is still a long way to go so never give up and keep moving.

Poem about Friendship.

Yo boon.

Behold all cowards of the earth,

For they think friendship is like food,

They only need it when they are hungry,

And nothing more when they are full,

That is hypocrisy and selfishness,

Until it’s too late to notice,

All that sprouts out to enemity.

Congrats to the brave of the earth,

For they think friendship is like a seed,

Which needs great care during planting,

Great care during germination,

For it can bring better flowers,

Flowers which are beautiful and everlasting,

And that is the real meaning of friendship.
